Pre- Listing Inspection

There are some home inspectors that inspect the bare minimum, and there are some home inspectors that go above and beyond. Some inspectors know how to properly educate new homeowners, and some, who are just alarming and scare them away. The majority of real estate transactions fall apart at the home inspection.  That being said, let’s say you have a home inspection done on your property before listing your home for sale. You review the report, and fix/adjust as much on the report as possible. This way when you list your home for sale, and a buyer comes through the doors with their inspector; it will help eliminate/ shorten the inspection report that they will receive. If the home inspection is where the majority of deals fall apart, then get in front of it, and inspect/fix before a home buyer does…. Make sense?
